Q1
Which state government department is responsible for formulating the proposed guidelines on age verification for school admission as per the news?

Consider the following statements regarding the proposed age verification guidelines in Uttar Pradesh:
1. 1.The guidelines were proposed following a directive from the Supreme Court of India.
2. 2.They mandate the submission of four specific documents for age proof at the time of school admission.
3. 3.The misuse involved false implication of boys aged 19-20 years under the provisions of the POCSO Act.
Which of the statements given above is/are correct?

Q3
As per the proposed guidelines in Uttar Pradesh, how many documents are required to be submitted by a parent for age verification at the time of a child's school admission?
Explanation: The article explicitly states that as per the proposed guidelines, four documents are required to be submitted. These are: a certificate from hospital/assistant nurse/midwife, record of an anganwadi centre, record of birth/death maintained by the gram panchayat, and an affidavit of the parent in the absence of these.
Q4
What is the primary objective behind the Uttar Pradesh government's proposed guidelines for verifying children's age at school admission?
Explanation: The core issue identified by the Allahabad High Court and addressed by the guidelines is the alleged misuse of the POCSO Act.
